#Greco stratocaster fret size serial numbers
Greco Gibson replicas started using serial numbers around 1975 and pre 1975 models had a Greco logo that looked like 'Gneco'. The Jim Dunlop 6150 is quickly becoming a shop favorite. Greco guitars have been made by Matsumoku, Fuji-Gen Gakki, Dyna Gakki and others as well. Down the line, I am still looking for the Tokai LC-100 or LC-110, or Greco Super Real EG1000Custom, Greco SS-800 (again), mostly all mahogany bodies with ebony. After searching, and searching, I decided I only needed one maple top Les Paul with humbuckers. Medium Height and Medium Width frets: Jescar 47095, 47090, and 45080 are all great options. These days, I am looking to Greco Super Real Strats/ Teles, and earlier Tokai models. The guitar has a vintage Ibanez V2 hum bucker in the bridge position. This is the size fret I chose for my own builds as I find they have the perfect blend of dimensions for my slightly heavy left hand. The guitar has dents, scratches and other flaws none of which affects performance. 1991 Fender American Standard Stratocaster. 1989 Fender Stratocaster USA w/ Kahler Steeler Vibrato. 1991 Fender American Standard Stratocaster Made USA Maple Fret Board admin Ma1991 Fender American Standard Stratocaster Made USA Maple Fret Board. There’s even push/pull switch so you can use neck humbucker as regular single, which still stays in good relation with rest of the settings. 1989 Fender Stratocaster USA with Kahler Steeler Vibrato Fret Board MIA American admin Novem1989 Fender Stratocaster USA w/ Kahler Steeler Vibrato Red Maple Fret Board MIA. Great Alnico pickups are very hot and well synchronized. One of the prettiest Teles from 80s in excellent condition. Pretty sure this kind of Teles were more inspirations for Jim Root, than this famous guitarist for Tokai’s luthiers 😉Īnyways, this is definitely very comfortable and good looking axe. Vintage jumbo fret wires are pretty much the opposite version of the popular 6105 design, being short and wide rather than tall and thin. In my opinion, and after using Greco, Orville, Tokai, Ibanez, Yamaha, and Edwards 335s from the modern era and from the 1970s, the Greco 335s are my favourite.
In particular, 6150s are a lot wider but shorter than the original 6230s. What is even more crazy is the fact, that this Tele has exactly the same neck profile as Root’a signature which is 12”. This size fret wire is more commonly known as ‘vintage jumbo’ and is the least sought after of all. It may look like inspired by Jim Root telecaster, but it have been released by Fender in 2007, while our Tokai TTE-60 Custom Edition Telecaster was made in 1986.
